Holiday Card 2014

LET IT SNOW!

Here is a look at our personal Christmas cards for this year! They feature our little dude and our little dog making some snow angels.

The drawing was separated into 2 images, one that will be printed blue and the other which will be blind debossed with no ink. This is a peek at the registration before the plate is ordered and made.

The 1st plate was printed using a hand-mixed icy blue ink. 

These were printed on 110lb Cranes Lettra paper for a soft feel and a heavy impression! 

The 2nd plate was printed with no ink. This plate had the snowflakes and the snow angel outline on it. Just using the pressure of the press created a cool effect that looks like the "snow" of the paper has its own impression! 

I used the Kelsey press to print the backs of the cards and the return addresses on the envelopes.

Summer 2014 Note Cards

Blue Crabs, Beetles, and Edge Painting

Hi everyone! We are slowly rolling out our Summer note cards and stationery sets this month! The designs are printed from engraved blocks and handmade drawings turned into printing plates. 

This is our "Blue Crab" note card. The crab is printed in a deep blue on Cranes Lettra paper. It is blank inside and comes paired with a Kraft brown envelope. The crab block was engraved last month during a relaxing trip to the beach.

These are our "hello" note cards. They are printed on very heavy 220lb Lettra paper in 5 colors. Each flat card is edge painted to match the lettering on it.

These come in a set of 5 cards, one in each color, with Kraft brown envelopes.

Fat Stacks!

This is the "Scarab Beetle" note card. The image was also engraved and the block was printed in black on these blank A2 cards. They are also paired with Kraft brown envelopes.
